Who We Are
Tusaajiit Translations work is grounded on the knowledge of the different dialects of Inuktitut. The business name of Tusaajiit in the language means “The ones who can hear”.
At Tusaajiit, there is extensive experience in both simultaneous verbal interpretations and documenting written translations from English to Inuktitut and from Inuktitut into English.
To name just a few of our steady clients, work continues for simultaneous interpreting for the NWT Legislative Assembly, the different Inuit organizations in Nunavut and their travels across Canada as well as the Inuit Circumpolar Conference (Canada) for the past 20 years.
Tusaajiit works with many different levels of governments, Panels, Inquiries, Commissions and at variously appointed working groups.
